Figure skating has shaped my body, my memory and my artistic language.
Today my fingers shape the moist and the soft, leaving dancing traces or perfectly smooth surfaces.
Colour, ornament and surface emerge through the interplay of earth, glaze, fire and intuition.
I influence the material, yet at the same time it carries its own strength.
Through the creative process, I seek to discover this elemental force within myself as well.
